Material Options

PET CF – create high-performance applications, from functional prototypes to manufacturing aids and replacement parts. (requires the UltiMaker PET Carbon Fiber Expansion Kit)

Tough PLA – Toughness similar to ABS. It is ideal for printing functional prototypes and tooling at larger sizes – without fear of delamination or warping. Available in 7 colors.

PLA – Versatile, easy to 3D print, reliable with high dimensional accuracy and a quality surface finish. Available in 11 colors.

PETG – Good printability, toughness, chemical resistance, wear resistance, and temperature resistance. Available in 14 colors.

ABS – Formulated to minimize warping and ensure consistent interlayer adhesion. It is a great choice for creating functional prototypes and complex end-use parts. Available in 10 colors.

CPE – Chemical resistance, toughness, and reliable dimensional stability. Available in 9 colors.

CPE+ – Chemical resistant with high dimensional stability, with the added advantages of increased temperature resistance and higher impact strength compared to regular CPE.

Nylon – Polyamide grade based on PA6/66, featuring reduced humidity absorption and a longer shelf life compared to other nylon filaments. Able to withstand significant mechanical stress.

PC – Tough, strong, and retain dimensional stability when subjected to temperatures as high as 110 ºC.

TPU 95A – Flexible material, making it ideal for applications that demand chemical resistance and the qualities of rubber and plastic. Available in 4 colors.

PP – Durable, chemical resistant material. It has exceptional fatigue resistance, high levels of toughness, and a low-friction co-efficient.

17-4 PH Stainless Steel – Strong parts with complex geometries (requires the UltiMaker Metal Expansion Kit)

Third-Party Materials – Print with NFC-enabled UltiMaker filaments, rigorously tested for reliability, or explore high-performance polymers from top material manufacturers—complete with ready-to-use print profiles available on the UltiMaker Marketplace.
