Basic Training – Onsite
Basic training is provided during the installation of all Stratasys 3D printers. At this level, a user will receive both equipment and software training with practical, hands-on experience on how to use our 3D printers and software. Depending on equipment, this is typically a half day or full day of training during the installation. The goal is to train the end-user in all the essential tasks and procedures to use our 3D printers and software.
Advanced Training – TekCenter
Advanced Insight and Fortus 360mc/400mc/380mc/450mc/900mc/F900 Training Course
For the larger production-focused Stratasys 3D printers (Fortus 360mc/400mc/380mc/450mc/900mc/F900), AdvancedTek provides advanced Insight Software training and 3D Production training at our TekCenter in St. Paul, Minnesota. This paid 2-day course is typically taken after using the equipment for 2-6 months. Students get hands-on with the software and perform various tutorials and tasks. After passing the class, students receive certification on the use of Insight Software and equipment.
Typical topics covered:
- Registration features
- Pausing a build (considering inserts)
- Seam control
- Reversing build materials
- Modeler, Toolpath, and Support setup
- Changing contour width to achieve varying wall thickness
- Advanced or specific applications
- Changing raster angle and widths to get better fill
- Adding multiple contours
- Sparse fill benefits
- Custom groups
- Slicing a part that’s too large for envelope
- Increase strength on bosses or prepare for tapping
- Parts finishing
- Resources available to every customer
- Review maintenance performed on machine
- Best steps for tip replacement and calibrations

Advanced Insight and Fortus 250mc/Stratasys F123 Series Training Course
For our Stratasys Fortus 250 and F123 Series 3D printers, AdvancedTek provides advanced Stratasys Insight Software training and Fortus training at our TekCenter. This paid 1-day course is typically taken after using the equipment for 2-6 months. Students get hands-on with the software and perform various tutorials and tasks. After passing the class, students receive certification on the use of Insight Software and equipment.

AdvancedTek also provides various workshops, application specific and customized training solutions.
Workshops & Seminars:
Typically 2 – 4 hour workshops designed to highlight features and applications such as Finishing Parts Seminar or Specialty Applications Workshop (paper pulp, injection molded tooling, sand casting, soluble cores, investment casting).
