Stratasys Announces Two New Advanced Materials

Stratasys has launched two new advanced materials for 3D printing and rapid prototyping that are getting customers excited.
If you need professional prototypes that stand up to all of your design verification requirements, the Agilus30 family is the material choice for all around rubber-like performance. A flexible PolyJet material, Agilus30 provides enhanced tear resistance and superior rubber-like quality. Available in black and translucent, Agilus30 is ideal for prototyping delicate designs or parts that undergo repeated flexing and bending such as living hinges, hoses, seals and gaskets, knobs, grips, pulls, and handles. And because it is PolyJet technology, you can create a whole range of digital materials with different Shore A values, shades and colors.
Agilus30 is compatible with:
Objet260 Connex1, Objet260 Connex2, Objet260 Connex3
Objet350 Connex1, Objet350 Connex2, Objet350 Connex3
Objet500 Connex1, Objet500 Connex2, Objet500 Connex3
FDM Nylon 12CF is Stratasys’ first carbon fiber-filled FDM material, providing a very high tensile strength and unprecedented stiffness-to-weight ratio. This 3D printed composite material containing 35 percent chopped carbon-fiber by weight is ideal for advanced RP functional performance testing – with the ability to replace metal prototypes or molded carbon-fiber prototypes – as well as being ideal for manufacturing-floor jigs, fixtures, tooling and end-use parts.
FDM Nylon 12CF is compatible with:
The combination of both new materials significantly expands the range of properties and performance customers can choose from when prototyping, tooling and manufacturing parts and products.
