A Few Observations from MINExpo 2106 – by Vermeer Corp

It was an interesting three days in Las Vegas last week where I had the chance to interact with mine and quarry owners, operators, engineers and consultants from around the world during MINExpo 2016. In my more than 20 years in the heavy equipment industry, I’ve come to learn that these large-scale shows are often a good reflection of the state of the industry they represent. In this case, this show once again lived up to that expectation as I observed a few key takeaways that I think reflect what’s currently happening across the mining industry.
